Is the Garmin LVS44 worth the upgrade?
In this video, I put the LVS44 and LVS34 head-to-head with a series of real-world, on-the-water tests to find out what’s actually different and whether the LVS44 is worth the investment.
I tested both transducers in a variety of situations, including:
- Depth Range
- Forward Range
- Bait Tracking & Splash
- Target Separation
- Structure — Rocks & Weeds
- Targeting & Catching Fish
Rather than simply comparing specs, I wanted to see how these two transducers perform in realistic fishing situations,
At the end of the video, I give you my honest opinion on the LVS44 and whether I think the improvements are worth the upgrade from the LVS34.
