Made it back up to Rainy River for one of my most favorite small trips of the year. I don't fish rivers a lot but the Rainy has been one of top rivers i have learned the most on the past few years. This river is an absolute fish factory and a ton of fun to learn on.

Caught fish on everything from 1/8 oz jigs with minnows up to 3/4 oz jigs with big nasty twister tails. You can catch walleyes on whatever setup you have most confidence in and that's one of the special things about this fishery.
