Since 2021, Killdeer, North Dakota has marked the unofficial start of hunting season for Prairie Grit Outdoors.

Every summer, we start looking forward to getting back into the rugged country of western North Dakota for our first adaptive hunt of the year. Killdeer has given us some unforgettable experiences, with incredible scenery, great people, and the potential for some amazing animals.

This year, Ben and Scott are in the hot seat.

Follow along as we kick off another Prairie Grit Outdoors adaptive hunting season and see what western North Dakota has in store for us.

Prairie Grit Outdoors has a mission to create adaptive hunting and fishing opportunities for people with physical and mental disabilities. Our goal isn't just to "Get something". Our mission is to empower our participants by showing them what they are capable of. We want to share these experiences and inspire others to get outside, overcome barriers, and experience the outdoors for themselves.

Based in North Dakota, our adventures take us across the state and beyond in pursuit of great hunting, fishing, incredible people, and stories worth telling.
