    Duck Decoys for Youngins

I did the same thing last year with 4 doz decoys - lines, weights, and bags included. Still had more than I used this year! Made a bit of space that I can fill with other items. Good on you.

    Camping food

When you say "primitive" do you mean in a tent next to the vehicle with a cooler full of ice and food or are you talking packing in some distance? Lots of options either way, but I chose my food differently depending on the situation. Bit more info would be helpful. Enjoy the trip!

I need a new vacuum sealer.

That is what surprised me about the chamber bags. I don't think I treated them differently, but maybe I am getting softer in my old age! I was just very impressed and have had batches from 4 different places and all worked flawlessly, so got me thinking maybe it was the bags?

I need a new vacuum sealer.

Sounds like lots of us are looking, or at least kicking around the idea of an upgrade. I have always had a regular vacuum type sealer and have never been overly impressed. It seemed like the bags often lost their seal in the freezer, mostly from small holes being rubbed through the bag but...

    Hobby

Very impressive that you are able to paint people, wildlife, scenery, etc. all with great skill. Often an excellent wildlife artist has trouble with people but those holding the fish are pretty cool. Nice work.

    I HATE coyotes!!!!

I had a golden eagle in Wyoming almost grab ahold of the fur trimmed hood of my coat while calling. That was exciting until I could "feel" the talons digging into my scalp so made a sudden motion to get it to flush! Glad it didn't let loose with a stream of shit as it flushed a few feet from me.

    EV push lawn mower recommendat

Each of my daughters have one. One is an EGO self-propelled and the other is a Makita that is not self-propelled. The EGO is a lot heavier but cuts a wider swath and has the assist. It has been flawless for the few years she has had it. Has a larger yard and the self-propelled is useful...

    Ice Dam

I have looked at the salt pucks but wondered if there were any issues where the water drains onto the grass. Do you end up with large dead areas or no issues?

Last year I followed the tutorial that Lycanthrope put together in the link and it worked like a charm. Best onions I have ever raised. Also worked with leeks. It works. Thanks for posting that info, Lycanthrope.

    New Flip Over

For sure, but that would take 10 min and cost a couple hundred dollars!!!

    New Flip Over

I have been in this same situation and have done a few things to help make my life a bit better, but do see other improvements that I could implement as I get older (or equipment gets heavier!). 1) I fish out of an Otter Cabin most often by myself and hound, but works ok for two. I keep the...
