    Been runnin 4 strokes for 15 years, love em! My lil lake rig is a 2003 Lund pro angler 16 w/ 2003 Yamaha 4 stroke 60 hp tiller. Trolls down to 1.2, top end is 31mph, and is very quiet.

    I’ve known Trevor for quite a while. You won’t find a more dedicated MT walleye fisherman. Article said he has only caught 3 walleye in 120 hours of fishin Holter reservoir this spring. MT FWP’s war on SW MT walleyes is why I fish walleyes one day a year in MT and 100 days in ND.

    I use the small round 10 buck Frabil trap. Then I tie a 25’ decoy line to it. I put dry dog food into a sandwich baggie, poke holes in it with a fork, throw it in the trap. I do a windmill type of toss into the slough, tent stake, tie the rope to a rock, or fence post on shore. Nobody will see...

    Drotto boat trailer latch

    Got Drotto’s on both my boats, 1950 Lund Tyee Magnum with bunks & Lund 16 Pro Angler tiller with roller trailer. One word, awesome!

    Kdrill Size?

    Had the 8 since they came out, noticed it was a bit smaller. Been a great light auger, very trouble free! 1/2” smaller isn’t a big deal.

    Boat Fishing in the Cold

    I’ve boat fished in the teens, froze and broke the flush out on my yammy kicker. Single digit temps comin, 3 for the low Friday. Winterized my boat yesterday. Gonna hunt pheasants and dust of the ice fishing gear. Hopefully you have better luck fishin in freezing temps than I did.

    ND angler reels in MT state record salmon

    My buddy was there when it was caught, actually held it. The guy couldn’t find a MT FWP official go verify it on the certified scale in a timely manner, fish sat in a cooler for a while, definitely lost the weight there.

    What’s going on at Ft Peck?

    A lot of big walleyes in the system right now. A lot of those tourney fish are caught on jiggin raps, deeper than 25-30’. Salmon are starting up if that’s your thing, it’s not mine. Call Lakeridge motel and talk to Eddie Mindt.

    I’d say about 15-20k, depending the shape of it, and if ya got the travel cover, plus the full cabin covers. Nice boat, I got an 05 1950 Tyee magnum, big, deep, and wide, Sherman tank on the water.

    You mess with a bison you get the horns

    Been happenin in Yellowstone every year of my 35 years living in MT. Local radio station keeps score. I think it’s Bison 3, tourists 0 this year. Hope the girl is ok.

    Grinding

    Here’s a tip when grinding that cold/frozen stuff. I use a very thin pair of wool gloves inside my rubber gloves, it’s a game changer, especially if your grinding a lot.
