    Panoptix boat mount

I recently bought the garmin panoptix and am trying to figure out how to set up the transducer in my boat. I know they make the transom transducers but I plan on just using the provided transducer with a pole of some sort so I can easily transfer it over to other boats. Has anyone come up with a...

    Home/Shop must haves

Thanks for the advice. I plan to have a full bathroom in the shop as well as a stall that is closed off from the rest so I can heat that warmer than the rest of the shop for whatever project I have going instead of waiting for the entire shot to heat for a couple hours. We found that we are...

    Home/Shop must haves

I am married and as of now we do not plan to have kids but would like to have the option later hence the 3 bedrooms. Our budget is roughly 280-300 thousand but I plan to probably insulate and sheet the inside of the shop myself to save money. We have the financing worked out and are not too...

    Home/Shop must haves

I think there was a similar thread on her before but I am having trouble finding it. I am in the market to build a new home. My plan now is to build a "Shouse" or a shop with a living quarters attached. I am thinking 1400 sq' living area (3 bed 2 bath) and a 50x70 shop. I have never built a home...

    Lake Tschida

Does anyone have an ice report in the back of the lake around the red rock resort area?

    Ice reports?

Anyone have an update on the thickness on Audubon in nelson bay? I am wanting to pull the 16’ permanent out this weekend but don’t want to make the trip if it’s not thick enough.

    River is open....Well sort of!

Anyone know how far south it’s open. I would like to head to hazelton ramp.

    Tailrace navigation

That’s where I screwed up. Looking in the water and seeing those rocks really put. A dampener on the trip. Thanks for the advise. Sounds like I’ll wait until they are letting more water out to make it a little easier.

    Tailrace navigation

I know this has been a topic on here before but I can’t seem to find it. I am getting the itch to get the boat out with this warm weather but I haven’t fished much at the tailrace. The couple times I have gone I attempt to navigate south from the ramp and never seem to make it very far do to not...

    Frozen in Ice Castle ideas?

I ran into this situation with my buddies house a few years ago after it fell through the ice. It froze with only a few inches of water in the floor but we left it for about a month to let the ice get thicker around it. When we came back we ended up with chainsaws, air chisels, spud bars, and...

    Lake Access - Sibley

I went out there Sunday morning with the house. Someone decided to pile snow at the top of the ramp so it is all blocked. There is another trail people are using but it looked like only track vehicles were using it. It is too narrow for a pick up. I ended up going back to town.

    Moisture in permanent

It’s a 2019 Forrest river ice cave. The heater vent was facing into the wind but it didn’t freeze up at all. The house is in getting looked at now while it’s still under warranty.

    Moisture in permanent

I was using the vented forced air furnace. I had a small electric heater going as well just to help out but I didn’t think I would have that much moisture since majority of the heat was vented.

    Moisture in permanent

I recently bought a 2019 permanent. I seem to be having a lot of issues with moisture collecting on the walls and windows of the house. It has a ceiling vent with a fan as well that drips into the house due to the frost that accumulated on it. I try to have fans moving as much air as possible...

Does anyone know where to sign up for this tournament? I found the dates on game and fish website but can not find any registration information. Thanks
