    Lights Scare Fish?

    Fished a river for eyes last night in 6ft of water. Not a fish would come in when my headlight was on. Shut it off, and boom they hit it right away. I think lights do scare fish especially in shallow water.

    It is the Red Lake River, so not too much current compared to the Red anyway.

    The weight was on the bottom. It seemed that the current was bowing the line and pulling the bobber down under the ice. I'm gonna give it a try with an open water slip bobber on the dropper rig tomorrow maybe.

    If your determined enough and dumb enough, nothing is impossible. Do you think it is possible he wanted in a darker color inside for spearing or something? Hard to believe someone is dumb enough to set it up inside out.
