    Old topic I know but I am curious how you all have done with dropping the extra weight. Personally - I have shed just about 60 pounds and am back down to where I should be bouncing between 148 to 151lbs - down from about 205/208.

    we have a mixer that attaches to the grinder motor. It works well but I do wish we had the tilt version for unloading it. Oh well. i needed parts one time from normal wear and tear. Was told to just buy a new mixer ... hahahaha took a chance on parts from another mfg (guessed it was the same...

    We have the cabelas grinder and stuffer. Stuffer is the older model and I like that over the newer one they came out with a couple years later. we have done quite a few critters with them and they have held up well. The safety part of the grinder mentioned earlier is a pain but easy to work...

    You would probably end up with people that would never draw a tag - like the elk/moose/bighorn and that wouldn't be good either. It at least gives those who have been applying longer and getting denied a greater chance of drawing their tag.

    It will be interesting to see how the lottery works with the new buy a point system. Wonder if we will have a bunch that go that route or still roll the dice and take their chances on drawing.

    Recalling from memory here..... our deer herd is managed by rifle tags and only the rifle tags. bow licenses and the success rate of archers do not have an impact on rifle tags issued or the deer population at this point.

    That was basically what was mentioned at the advisory meeting a few years ago - a tiered lottery. Everyone seemed to like the idea but it went nowhere.

    let me start by saying I know this isn’t how it works but..... when i I read this all I pictured was a bunch of deer like cheech and Chong.... thats all.
