    Renner Bay

Does anyone know if a guy can launch a boat at Renner bay? It doesn’t look like there are any docks, but I could float my little aluminum boat off the trailer pretty easy. Looks like there’s a couple different places a guy could pull off the road, I’m just not sure if it’s public use or not.

    Line-Counter Reel Repair

Not quite that either. I measured 40’ out in the yard, then pulled line off the reel. Reel showed 17’. In yards, 40’ would be just over 13’.

    Line-Counter Reel Repair

An old Mitchell Riptide 40CD was given to me, but the line-counter part of it doesn’t work quite right. It counts a bit below half of the length of the line that’s actually out. Has anyone tore into these reels to work on them? I’m a bit of a tinker-er, and can’t just throw something out if...

    Lake Holmes

Has anyone been on Lake Holmes lately that could give an ice report? Thinking about taking my kid out this weekend and would like to have some insight on areas that might be thin. Also, any tips on where to set up on that lake? Would love to get onto some fish, be it 6" dink perch, or some...

    Hecker's Lake

Anyone icefish Hecker's lake? Thinking of heading there with my son and Dad this weekend. Any tips or areas to avoid? Is the only access from the boat ramp on the south side by the canal? Want to get to the small island on the north end.

    Lost Glove

My boy lost a black winter glove at the New Johns boat ramp on the southwest side of the lake on 1/16/21. If anyone comes across one let me know.

    Leupold BDC Reticle

From what I understand, those lines are generally set up for a particular factory load, unless you develop a handload and learn the drops at certain distances. Then you would need to send the scope to the factory with those drops for that load, and they can set up the reticle for your...

    Model 70 Help

Not to derail the thread, but why is the commonly used abbreviation for the word "barrel", "bbl"? Doesn't make much sense to me to throw an extra b in there. That's always driven me nuts. Carry on...

    Dat chu, rona?

Let's take a poll. Who here is concerned for their health if they were to contract the rona? Who isn't worried about it at all and thinks the whole thing is a joke?

    Tying Your Own Spinner Rigs

Does anyone use willow-leaf blades for walleye? I've experimented with them a little in the past but haven't had a ton of luck....at the same time, I'm a big rookie when it comes to boat and walleye fishing.

    Shore Fishing - Camper Gear

We recently purchased a used 5th-wheel camper, and I want to keep a simple, fairly cheep, easy to pack in/out shore fishing setup in the camper. Picked up a cheap $30 rod/reel combo and small Plano tackle bag. Most of the time, I’ll also be bringing my three year old boy with me, as he also...

    9mm Coated Bullets Leading

Granted I'm just getting in to casting, but if it were me, I'd start out by running a little hotter if you can, or possibly trying a faster-burning powder. I'm betting you're not getting full obturation.

    5th Wheel Hitch

My wife and I just picked up our first camper, a 25' Terry model fifth-wheel. I hate the idea of the fifth-wheel taking up so much dang space in the back of my pickup, so I've elected to try the gooseneck adapter route. Roughrider RV in Beulah installed the Anderson Ranch adapter onto the...
