    good lord, what have I missed. Well, first of all, cats are destructive aholes that do hold somewhat of a purpose on a farm. They also kill a ton of song birds. We had a cat growing up and she lived to be 23 years old. Spent a few summers on the open road when she scooted out of the house...

    My wife got seasick in the dominican. I stayed on deck and slammed el presidente's with jose and oscar while we managed to snag one northern pike of the ocean (cuda). I feel for you people that get sea sick. I've never experienced it. I've always had a blast in rough water.

    I covered my boat in flat black paint so I don't stick out. Already channeled my inner riverfisher on saturday so the boat gets a shiny new keel guard next monday. I am going to work on pulling deeper cranks with leadcore and snap weights. I will also work on jigging raps and rippin raps...

    Fished from 12:30 to 7:30 yesterday. Surprisingly, it didn't get too bad for me. Firstlite merino wool base layer works extremely well. If we were in my boat, I'd have stayed home.

    I polish up the skeg and prop every year too. I've also found out that you need to withhold about $160 to swap out your impeller every year.

    Are you sure you didn't hit something? My dad smoked a rock pile in the state park last year, leaving a pretty sizeable dent in the transom, and it didn't leak a single drop. *This was on a 2004 Lund Fisherman 1700.
