    Spring Pike on Sakakawea

    Snow will hinder you the most this year. But any of the bays of Wolf Creek, Sportsmans Centennial, Steinke, Garrison Bay, Douglas bay produce chances at plenty of quality slimers. Whether or not the roads are open come time will be the question.

    Motor Oil - What do you run?

    What no Schaeffer Synthetic users? I run it, plus I get a free oil analysis done whenever I want to send in my sample. Been really impressed with it so far. Run it in all fords: 3.5 V6, 3.5 EcoBeast, and a 6.2L Gasser. Varying from 130k miles down to 25k miles.

    Snow

    83 northbound and southbound in the garrison area is polished ice. Headed out to a job about 10am and was wet/slush, air temp droped to 23 and it turned to polished ice. Speeds are reduced to about 40 give or take.

    Deepwater creek back by the Game and Fish ramp is iced over solid as of this morning. Out past the first point west of the ramp. Fishable ice will be 11/16 with many people tempting it on the 17th.
