    2 groups at Cattail bay. One shack just upstream in the bay not far from ramp. Another took a side by side to Winnona Island. I watched them for a bit, and it looked like they wanted to get out to the channel break, but then they set up a shack right by shore.

    On the ice yea, but on a boat you'd have to deploy trolling motor or use a manual mount. In a boat you can cruise 5-8 mph and just use side imaging.

    It all depends on the water needs downstream. Snowpack means little if they just run it all through. I hate to say it but what really needs to happen is severe rainfall and flooding downstream from Missouri to Louisiana.
