    AI said that's a Beech Marten ? The small head and long furry tail sure make it seem likely or possible. I'd never heard of them , they are farmed for the fur and escapees adapt well to the wild.

    I was surprised Google earth's latest image update is 22 months ago. wondering if there are any recent HD images that might be out there ? I tried NOAA and NDSWC but couldn't find any in HD . Thanks.

    I haven't used mine in ages but they work slick for chipping a detent in the ice and fill it with water and those old buggers will show you the depth of the ice, the depth to bottom and sometimes a double line back up to the ice.     Not to make fun of cops but the last one to get hit , that little dance afterwards reminded me of a comedy show I used to watch of 3 guys who did skits like that. Can't put a finger on it. Good things will come from that video once it is reviewed higher up on the chain of commands .
