    30-30 again.

No. It feeds, but it's very rough and you really have to slam that bolt if you want reliability. The brother in law has his dads Savage and although those two rifles look alike the Savage is much better.

    30-30 again.

I walked in to our local sport shop one day and they had a beat up old bolt action Steven's. The extractor was missing and the last owner must have used it as a pogo stick in a gravel pit. I have never seen a muzzle that abused. It was marked $ 199. I told them throw in a set of RCBS dies...

    Spring snows 24

I was outside buffing out a paint job on my topper about 3:00pm yesterday and there was a goose tornado going down on the Jamestown reservoir about 1/4 mile south of my house. Thousands were nearly in gun range as they broke from the flock and headed NW towards the Pipestem reservoir.

    long range rifles?

That pic is about the lightest rifle I have. I was thinking Ruger GenII, but am thinking more along the lines of a 45 caliber precharged air rifle. That is if they make a mould for pellets. Then no dependency on bullets, primers or powder, just free air. I just want big enough for deer.

    long range rifles?

db2 my dad did about the same thing to a Swedish 6.5 Mauser in the 1950s. The sport shops sure liked that 1968 gun control bill that forced us to buy from them. I still remember dad trying to make up his mind. Heavy use military were $9, light use were $19, and unfired in heavy cosmolin were...

They know better and only liars ( and the vert stupid) will repeat Bidens lies. At any time Biden could shut down the border without congress. Trump did and the democrats attacked him for it. The bill before congress was smoke and mirrors. It gave much to the criminals already here and made...

svnmag you evidently think when you read your Bible. Hebrew language is written sort of poetically. If one tries to use critical thinking they will miss most of it. Scripture interprets scripture and its so interwoven that you can read the entire Bible many times and still learn things each...

Your getting it camper, they are both bad choices. There may be better choices and there certainly are worse choices. Will God use one to bless this nation, or will he use one to punish us? What makes you choose the one that takes from the worker and gives it to the lazy, who takes from the...

I think we agree on many things I'm just not being clear. I'm saying we are all sinners so we have no choice but voting for ----‐ you could say lesser of two evils, or by earthly standards the person who does more good. As far as Biden didnt his priest refuse to give him communion because of...

‭‭Romans 3:12 ESV‬‬ [12] All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.” When you vote for anyone you vote for who you think is best, but no matter they are the lesser of two evils. No denomination debates this theological truth.

👍 Thats why I do get involved. I am chair of the delegate committee for republican district 29. I dont want to do it, but looking in the mirror, shaving, and thinking about the woke culture the old grey haired guy in the mirror said, so what are you doing about it slick. So the convention...

    What would you do??

I have a Koi that looks much like that (25 inches 16 lb) with the exception that he is a better fed specimen and along his dorsal surface he has about ten percent reflective silver scales.

    What would you do??

I would keep it alive and advertise it. Its not a Kohako or Platinum Ogon that are worth $5K at 30 inches, but it's uniform color would make it worth $1K to the right person.

    Nanoplastics in water bottles

I agree Fester. Lobbyists are simply a legal pipeline from special interest pockets to politicians pockets. The line may not be direct, but it gets there.

    Nanoplastics in water bottles

Agriculture is a business like any other business and they have lobbyists and a lot of influence in Washinton. We are told how safe everything is, but high fructose corn syrup is banned in most of the world. It would appear even Russia is more concerned about their people than we are. GMO...
