Even getting 12 to 15 inches of snow would not be enough to fill up any sloughs. The places that got a foot of snow maybe will get 2.5 inches of moisture. And there will be no run off
You get between them going from water to feed or feed to water in a blizzard. And you will have a really good shoot. Without setting up any decoys. Can get in some great dog work.
I straightened my shotgun barrels by filling them with sand. Pack it into the barrel and push it with a barrel vise. I never had one kink. You may have to drill the sand out to see if it's straight. If you have a Shadow it's not straight.
I have a brand new Numrich arm 30-30 octagon barrel. Its threaded and chambered and cut out for extractor and have the dovetails cut in for sites.
Will sell for 75.00
What I had read about hunts in North Fargo is you have to be in the elevated stand. No ground blinds. So your shooting downward. Less chance of a skipped arrow.
I would have to think Bismarck is the same way. I would check with Game and Fish and see what they have for there urban hunts.
