    HB 1377 - Party Hunting

It's been this way in SD for years and it's no problem, but youngsters have to be 12 to get a license. I would say 3 roosters per license, and youngsters under 12 wouldn't get a license. If you wanted to allow them to hunt fine, but it doesn't increase your limit.

    HB 1377 - Party Hunting

I'm for it with SMALL GAME and FISHING. Big game NO. Your kid can shoot your pheasants and catch your fish but with BIG GAME...NO!! (As most the main hunter will fill all the tags, usually dad.)

After watching the Bass Masters in Mobridge last summer, I can see they are the future. I'm not sure exactly how they have them rigged on trolling motor but they have it pointed forward and are casting to fish.

    Portable fish houses

You don't need thermal in those portable 4×8 fold down home made shacks. I made one 25 years ago and used 10 mil poly. I've stored it in a shed and it still is God to go. I used to be able to drag it around easily by myself but somehow it got heavier every year. Holds heat really well I think.

I want to do that also, but I was thinking of ticking my sled out with a plywood cover and put seats on it. I'll probably make it heavier, but that doesn't really matter to me now.

    Portable fish houses

4 years ago I bought a Jason Mitchell XL Clam flipover. I could barley load it by myself in my truck. I made a trailer for it out of an old boat trailer to solve that. They're heavier than I thought they'd be thats for sure. You'd have to go to the one man flip-over if you want it light...

    Scrambled Eggs

First of all you just have to have some cheese in the eggs. I prefer mushrooms and onions green peppers and and some ham or cold cuts, but then I guess that's an omlet. Oh and always in cast iron!

House Bill 1151- Prohibiting baiting bans

We need a plan to keep the deer away from the midgets. Oh, and feed them garlic, lots and lots of garlic.

I will miss seeing the packers eliminated by the 49ers again.

The GC-7 code of conduct is a bunch of BS IMO. They read through it at about 26 minute period. I don't see how an elected board can pass conduct rules on itself that basically protects itself or limits the board members actions in a way that I would say is unconstitutional.

    Net is down

Oh and SDSU dominated the line of scrimmage and proved to be the better team. Nice to see SDSU get one, as I did go there for 4 semesters.

    Net is down

The Detroit win was even sweeter as I changed my pick to the Lions in my Pick-em pool. I was one game behind the 2 leaders and figured they would pick the Packers as everyone was thinking the same thing. How can they lose at home with so much at stake? But the only way I could tie is if I...

    Bites of the Past

The severe drought in the 2000's led to another insane bite. It took a couple years to figure out, but in the spring, right at Walker Bottoms on OAHE we figured it out. A buddy showed me how to shore fish the current/main channel there and we did ok. Then one day a boat started pulling...

    Bites of the Past

When the limit on OAHE was 14 (10 had to be under 15" or 16") we found a bite that winter that was INSANE. Three of limited in a very short time. As soon as your jig got close to the bottom you had one. It took longer to reel in, unhook, and rebait than it did to catch one. Every one of...

He actually spoke and understood English well, but it definitely wasn't his first language. The problem was trying to guide him on Google Maps to my door. He didn't know what a mile was, and not sure if he knew north was up. HWY 24 is also 1806 that was an absolute mind blower.
