    Been a very quiet waterfowl season so far in my area. I haven't done any hunting this year but have heard very little shooting or seeing other hunters while out and about. Looks like some of the smaller wetlands are dried up and the ducks and geese are pretty spread out.

    They won't freeze if charged. Yes don't put them on concrete, set on wood if you remove them.

    I charge mine up and disconnect everything. They stay in the boat in a non heated quonset. Never had an issue.

    Not possible with land changing hands quite often. Plat books are even out of date a few years after publication. They are an option but not always accurate. I think more counties are getting GIS data online so that should help in the future.
