    Although your footprint on the water surface is small, you have a lot of surface area above water to catch the wind. Spot lock would be tough. A couple of anchors would be much cheaper. You can spend the rest of the money on a lesser poundage of trolling motor for those calm days.

    I guess my post must have hit someone the wrong way. Thanks for the neg rep stranger. Maybe I'll start getting mad at people that get to close to my ranger, tarping the boat halfway up the ramp, and troll right next to shore fisherman.

    I need to get some powder paint for the white base coat. That's a PITA with an airbrush. Now kdm, would it work to dip the jig right after you pour it? Or isn't that hot enough for that powder paint.

    Never really ran in to one. Not sure what I'd do there than tell them that I really like back straps, summer sausage and jerky. Pheasants pair up great with stir fry and cats really love goose breast :;:.

    Can you imagine filling that up the 2nd time. The first fill, you're all excited to go out and open her up; not caring about the gas consumption. The second time, you're running at idle speed every where you go.

    The cleaning station is always a fun one. I usually will wait to unload fish out of the boat until I check the cleaning station. Last summer, my dad and I walked over and started talking with a couple other guys and we got the silent treatment about where they were/how the fishing was, etc...
