I ran the Fusion and 150 Power Shock. +/- 15yds for .413 vs. .313 respectively (339yds vs. 325Yds). The PowerShock matching up the duplex intersection @ 325 allowed me to back-calculate the reticle subtension in my ballistics program which = 3.6MOA. That 3.6MOA gap number doesn't "feel"...

I have a hard time believing the duplex gap is only 3.6MOA @ 9X, but, I certainly can't argue the point as I haven't one in front of me to proof the gap.

    Steak Time!

It's not up to me, and no amount of effort or climbing will get me there on my own. If I'm invited, I won't need a ladder, I'll be lifted up. You should probably get yourself a great big extension ladder so you get get out onto the ice-floe and catch a fish for dinner.

    Old .22 rifles

Stopped @ Cabelas in Mitchell yesterday. 541T HB in the premium room was $1499! 541S in ~90% condition was $1599. YIKES!!! I LOVE the 580/581/582/541 series and I can manage with a 5-shot clip. I wish they fed as smoothly as anything that runs from a 10/22 or 77/22 mag though...

    Ramps open? Bismarck/Mandan area

Any word regarding which producer lost the cattle, or where the producer was located? I wonder if someone's waterer froze during the Feb cold snap and a bunch of cows went to the river to drink and broke off a big chunk of ice maybe???

    Steak Time!

Update, Prime Cuts no longer has dry aged steaks just occasionally, they have them all the time. They have a UV lamp dry-ager behind the regular meat counter. They've also started stocking Wagyu Ribeyes as well. I have yet to venture down that road less-traveled, it scares me.....

    Old .22 rifles

It probably does to someone. My noggin doesn't get that deep in the weeds on very many. I'll never be the guy who knows SN ranges and how they = year of production off the top of my head. I remember the big things, like being able to mount a scope or not (grooved receiver), and the 22 mag and...

    Old .22 rifles

Regarding the "common" 61's, the latter 61's had a 3/8" groove in the top of the receiver for .22 scope rings and typically command a premium. IIRC there was a 22Mag version that brings a ton of $$ and a smooth-bore version that brings even more.

Give or take that's probably close. Without getting deep in the weeds you're going to need that cross-to-post distance to be 4.5-6MOA @ the highest power and it'll be a 400yd hold with easy bracketing in-between.

Piece of cake. Cypher the ammo and it's a couple clicks away from done on the info side. Just need to implement an honest to goodness reliable zero and thorough practice regimen.

I've never really thought about it. It takes a LONG shot for either of those numbers to be relevant. 300Win is 950 FPE @ 800yds. Flight time to 600 is ~.75 Sec. You add almost another 1/2 sec getting to 800. Too much time for the wind to act on the projectile and ENTIRELY too much time for...

    300 @ 1350 and 445 @ 1550. Different projectiles, much higher BC on #2. Lowest FPE I've hit a deer w/via 270Win is just under 1100 and it was a "Bang-Flop". Lowest FPE period was ~875 via 243AI/105 A-Max @ 730, another "Bang-Flop".

    Spring purge

100% agree and I 100% understand why they did it. I've salvaged countless days of fishing either for myself or for friends/neighbors by having the leftovers from transducer mount kits, a few spare cassette pumps, and a few wire connectors.
