    After an arctic rescue expedition (or “arscudition”), I’ve recovered Weather Bucket from his snowy tomb. Weather Bucket now indicates it’s sunny and cold outside. He also indicates the packers will not win the Super Bowl this year.

    There’s easily 2 - maybe 3 - feet of snow over the top of Weather Bucket. A solid, wide 3’ drift stretching the width of the road in front of my driveway. West Fargo has already said they’ll be prioritizing main emergency routes tomorrow. I may not be leaving the house tomorrow until evening.

    Crown Royal is not worthy of stripping Krylon off my tactical rifles. Bleach!! Buffalo Trace/Weller is where it’s at for the $25 bottle of sipping booze. Right now at Harry’s the $35 bottle of Glenlivet 12 is an absolute steal.

    WB is now encased in a snowdrift out my back door. The kids even dug it out once to make sure it wasn’t lost. WB is currently showing sustained winds of 44fps with gusts of 53fps. (WB measures wind speed in FPS instead of MPH to maintain consistency with ballistic calculations.)

    It’s blowing like a breathalyzer now. Bare spots of grass and concrete with drifts forming and hardening all over. According to the radar there’s still snow coming down. 41fps winds with 56fps gusts.
