    How goes it Oley...best thing you can do is get out and explore. Ice is really sketchy right now so if you venture out don't go alone. Lake Darling ice is still ok in some locations. Looks like we got ice making temps coming this week, Audubon bays should be fine in 2 weeks. Good luck and be safe...

    Prediction - First Ice

    ^ Fished Nelson Bay 3 weeks ago...had 4 solid inches but conditions have changed obviously. Have only fished Lake Darling up north since then. Buddy fished Darling yesterday, said still had 7 solid...may go tomorrow afternoon.

    Beginning next Wednesday, looks like highs projected to be in the teens...lows in the single digits...up here in the north anyway. But guessing we will have lost most if the ice...so gotta start all over...weird beginning to the winter with the temps for sure. At least there are no big storms...

    Yep...no doubt BRK. We fished Darling yesterday morning...still had 7 solid but shoreline getting weak. Thinking 2 weeks for sure after the temps they predicting this week. Week after next looks cold again...we'll see...gotta love mother nature!

    Flip over Ice shelters - which one?

    I have the Shappell FX150...no complaints at all. In the future will probably upgrade to an insulated model...but with the Buddy Heater going I've never not been warm enough in the hut.
