    Instead of College

Moorhead has a High School career center that's a great opportunity for kids that have interest in that kind of stuff. And it's not only for those who don't plan to go to college , college bound students need this stuff too. Some of you probably know the "Reds" , Twin brothers from Fargo...

    Here piggy piggy

During the oil boom I saw a scrubby looking sow with a big litter out in the middle of nowhere between New Town and White Earth. I forget exactly where I was but I remember thinking what will I see next with all this craziness going on out here. The piglets were mostly white with dark...

    Here piggy piggy

db, Rayfield from Kalvin klinic shot one quite a few years ago and posted a picture of it on facebook laying on the end gate of his pickup. He passed away and the pic is no longer of his face book page. They like acorns so they like the turtle mountains .

Do you ever plug up the chute on the JD snow blower ? I blew a little snow with my son's over Easter and once the snow started getting sticky that thing plugged up way to easy. The snow was heavy but still it should have walked right through it. I have an old walk behind snow blower...

Population Explosion of Canadian "Super Pigs" Could Spread Into the Northern U.S.

The wild pigs Iv'e seen in the hills are skinny razorbacks with short ears but this might be another variety. We have had wild pigs up in the hills since the late 70s , I'll try to find a picture

Population Explosion of Canadian "Super Pigs" Could Spread Into the Northern U.S.

My boys had two pot belly pigs and they had big floppy ears like the dead one in the picture. Best trade ever was when they traded two pot belly pigs and two goats even up for a Chevy Cavalier .

They are a royal pain in the ass and I have no clue what the safety feature is suppose to do besides put wear and tear on the pto clutch.

If I owned a JD I'd unplug the switch that kills the engine when you back up with the mower/snow blower running. It's the most annoying thing about them.

I hope not. If that's the case next episode will be about trial and errors with battery acid .

    Flood Watch 2023

Our snow is probably 75% gone on the prairie and half or better gone in the hills and hardly any run off. It's been the perfect that here . Is there a map that formulates evaporation ? Had to be high with high winds and mid 40s .

My last breakdown on a commercial mower was an electric PTO clutch that shorted out and started an electrical fire. The clutch alone was $ 1200 so I took the deck off and turned it into a 23 HP diesel mini fork lift/hydraulic pack.

The only thing Iv'e had to replace is the mower belt and condenser everything has a grease zerk so keep it greased and oils topped off and no troubles. I think almost every golf course had farmall with a belly mower back in the day.

I'll just stick with what I know something about , My Farmall BN Sold new for $ 770 in the 40s and worked long and hard in the field for many years then I paid $1250 for it with a woods mower. I've used it hundreds of hours and its worth more than I paid for it.
