    Underwater cameras

I have the Aqua Vu 360 and they are nice. I hook it to a 32 in TV in my house and you see all around the house as it has 4 camera's. I have had it for close to 8 yrs. Wish I could find a couple more for spares. A person gets spoiled not having to turn the camera. They quit making them about 4 or...

    Buying a new gun..Dilemma

After having lots of hang fires I went to this method. Shoot 2 or 3 primers then load with 15 gr IMR 4064 and 150 gr Buckhorn 209. It goes off like a rifle does and have never had a hang fire. This is shooting a Knight 85 with magnum rifle primers.

    AR15 Pistol

I shot a couple of 480 Ruger in a 4 1/2 Blackhawk. Now they will bark. I have 4 AR-15 pistols in 300 Blackout, 7.63x39, 223 and 6.5 Grendal. All have 10.5 inch barrels and Shockwave braces and there all loud. With ear plugs they dont bother me and they all shoot and function great.

Hundreds of Yellowstone bison to be culled this winter

I have a Buffalo skull that I shot many years ago. It has a hole, to me its a conversation piece. Lots of people have seen and and ask why the hole. I just say that how it died.

Hundreds of Yellowstone bison to be culled this winter

I seen a Bull shot with a 30-06 180 gr Nosler Partition. The head was down to far and turned slightly away and the bullet went off the front of the skull thru the eye socket and into a Cow's hindquarter. And it didnt kill it. We ended up shooting 2 animals that day. Them big Bulls have some...

Hundreds of Yellowstone bison to be culled this winter

It would bounce off them, - - - Updated - - - I have shot many Buffalo, (I shot not hunted ). All on a ranches and for meat. Keep in mind I was in a loader tractor 10 ft in the air. Everyone was shot with a 25-06 with Barnes X solid copper bullets. I would imagine lines drawn from horn to the...

    Buying a new gun..Dilemma

I was on the barrett website, know where does it say what brand of barrel. They have 10 calibers with the longest barrel being 24 inches on one md. The light ones have no bottom metal. If a person is happy with the calibers they offer then by all means go for it. I would rather have the caliber...

I have a 6mm I thought about loading that bullet does it exit the yotes with little pelt damage. I shoot a Coyote in the shoulder normally no pass thru. If it does go thru it makes a mess of them and any other broadside shot is a mess. If I can get them standing looking at me. Very seldom...

    Buying a new gun..Dilemma

I have always said if your going to build a hotrod drive it like a hotrod. Same with guns, you build them to perform at there best. Get the most out of them that you can. I have a 22-6MM AI built and it shoots a 50gr Blitzking at over 4350 fps. Yes I can tame it down, but why it shoots the...

I think the average shooter can get close to 1000 rds. People shooting matches and its a timed match 600 is pushing it.

    Buying a new gun..Dilemma

If I burn out the barrel, I will just buy another one, Hell there cheap only 370.00 plus 350.00 to thread and chamber and Im back in the game. Everyone person is different when it comes to shooting. A little recoil doesn't bother me and I shoot 1000's of rds a yr. I have a rifle range in my back...

    Buying a new gun..Dilemma

And your point is?? I have hunted the Mts many many times and never once said I wish my rifle was 2 lbs lighter. A McMillian ways less than 2 lbs the ones I have in fact there 28 oz. So your stock must be negative 4 oz's. That's a pretty light stock.

    Buying a new gun..Dilemma

Before I spent 1900.00 on a Barrett I would buy a Remington 700 Action and have it printed and get a good barrel and have it chambered in the caliber a person wanted and only have less than 1000.00 into it. Buy a McMillian stock for 500.00 and you still have less than a barrett.

    Buying a new gun..Dilemma

A 6.5 x 284 is based off the Winchester 284 which is a .284 dia or 7mm and necked down to a 6.5. They have necked it both ways from a 6MM X 284 to a 25 x 284 and even a 30 x 284. There are some cartridges that are really accurate and some that are pretty good. Seems like everything based off the...

    Buying a new gun..Dilemma

I was never a 6.5 fan. Just didnt see what all the craze was about. Till I built a 6.5 x 284 and shot it out to 600 yds. So I went a head and built another one. Both have Brux barrels 1 - 8 twist. Both built on Remington 700 actions. Both blueprinted and chambered with the same reamer. First one...
