    Haven't tried for perch yet. I like to cover a lot of ice and until there is quality ice all over a lake, I'll stick to walleyes.

    I rarely tie direct. I switch out lures too often to waste my time. That and I use a palomar knot almost exclusively and trying to loop around trebles is a pain in the arse. Quick snaps for life.
