    ATV and SxS are suppose to be licensed when used on any public property. That includes hwys, gravel roads, ice fishing, (same as boats, jet skiis, etc), I have been told from a previous Game Warden.

    Landowner Respect or maybe it's just not common sense anymore?????

    I very much appreciate permissions that have been granted by landowners. I send Thanksgiving and Christmas cards, and take walleye fillets whenever possible. I have even helped one of the elderly ladies pick her apples in the fall. She gave me raspberries and strawberries for helping. Very nice !

    Just a skin scrape these days and it takes for ever to heal. Thin skin runs in our family, Gma ( lived to 102) could run into a padded chair and start bleeding. Oldest bro is the same way and I am following suit. Worked farm and railroad for 45 yrs, should have rawhide for skin.

    Hearing safety--Something to think about

    Hearing is pretty good yet but being around loud noise (railroad) and shooting, I definitely have a ringing in my ears. Its not as noticeable during the day as it is sitting around in the evening, but it does suck.

    2 man Otter Cabin. Remove 1 seat, fish solo in there with 3 holes. If you were fishing 2 people in there it is only roomy enough for 1 hole apiece actually. Fishing partner does same with his Jason Mitchell. Use wheeler ramps if loading it in pickup, but most times pull it up on trailer behind...
