    My buddy heater would put the pilot light at about half flame, not enough to heat the thermocoupler, so the effn thing wouldn't stay lit. Did the qtip in alcohol thing this morning after watching a YouTube video, and now it runs a nice flame to the coupler, however it isn't a nice bright blue...

    seems that little motor they have to run the plunger is way under powered. Why do we Americans keep letting China stick it to us with their cheap inferior crap. Run it for 20 minutes at a time, fine, let it run all night and it is just too much, and next thing it wont do anything.
