    I have read that in states like Michigan, Wisc, and Minn the median age of a deer hunter is around 60. That will have a huge effect on in the not-too-distant future. They are going to have to change some things.

    Weather forecast & predictions

    I agree. The ability to also get by-the-hour forecasts, including wind, for any location is something we don't appreciate enough. They may not be perfect, but it sure beats the days of watching the TV weather and trying to guess what it is going to do 150 miles from the station.

    I have a true Coast Guard approved float coat. I use it for early/late ice and also cold weather open water fishing. They have more buoyancy than the ice fishing suits. They do get stiff in real cold temps so they don't work for that. Carry ice picks to climb back onto the ice...
