    Burke County Wind Farm Denied

I saw a think-tank guy quoted in an article, he said that coal is going to be dead by 2030. There is lots of Natural gas. In OK companies are paying to put their gas into the pipelines and we all know the flaring situation in this state.

    Here we go again

I believe this is related at least partly to the legacy fund. There is a huge pile of $$$$ in Bismarck that they are all chomping at the bit to dig into, The local gov'ts will raise taxes, we will complain, and the legislature will hand them some money. It also serves as a huge slush...

    Fined for shed hunting

These are wintering grounds for the elk. The sheds are worth $$$. Let people run around out there and the elk will become stressed. I saw this on the Wardens show out of Montana and the opening of some of these grounds to shed hunting in the spring is a big deal.

E85 approved for year round use? Anyone run the stuff?

Govt dictating that XX billion gallons of ethanol are going to be blended with gasoline this year is something reminiscent of central planning in the old soviet union. If you have to aid farmers just aid them directly rather than going through this mess.

Sb 2315 - reborn after house gutting!

Who is standing up for the shore fishermen. I have fished areas that would become iffy if this passed. How would you know for sure? Water level dependent?

    HB 1021 - "The Database" End-Around

I was parked on a very public road glassing public land (never got out of the truck) and given the third degree by an adjacent landowner. I will add that this was one instance and it does work both ways. 90+ % of both landowners and sportsmen are good decent people. It is that small percent...
