    Buying a used wheelhouse

I have a 6.5 X 15 Ice Castle. It's eight years old and I have not used it more than ten times. Ice to thin, snow to deep, no time, would rather shoot coyotes etc etc etc. It has been pulled about 50 miles total. No dings, no roof problems, furnace and everything else in perfect condition. I...

    Soybean welfare plan

db-2 I remember those times too. Before my time my dad told me about. He said his neighbors were not happy when they were saying in 1950 they never had it so good. It was the Korean war and that boosted the economy. When they were talking my father said he would rather be poor than get rich...

    Soybean welfare plan

You may change your mind kid, once you have enough experience to know crap from apple butter. Edit: These countries may be your friends, but they are enemies of the United States. Where does that leave you Benedict?

    Soybean welfare plan

As I drove home from church soybean fields were about all there was. I couldn't help think about how many of our enemies that will feed. We sold wheat to Russia, we explored selling North Dakota ag products to Cuba, we now sell food to the Chinese. Is there something wrong with this picture...

    Soybean welfare plan

I believe it was durum that hit $13 a few years ago, and the organic does hit $20. A friend who is a crop adjuster just paid out $240k on hailed out buckwheat. I told him I was unfamiliar with buckwheat and asked how much it was worth. He said they make $800 an acre of buckwheat. I had no...

    Ag question regarding wetland

Food value for ducks there is nothing, for a muskrat yes. They are great thermal value for deer and pheasants. I have classified a lot of wetlands. Cattauks can indicate two things. A semi permanent under dry conditions, or a fen where high groundwater creates a fen, or on the case of water...

    Soybean welfare plan

Those are all public places for everyone. I don't think you want 50 guys with jacked up trucks having a mud run on your south quarter. Public vs private = apples and oranges. That's just reality, but we don't want to submit to the enemy for any single group of Americans not just farmers.

Need advise on how to shoot a rifle

I think your on to something. Since there is no pattern I am guessing he is a little far back and that will mess with parallax and shift the crosshairs/target relationship around. If the stock is to long set the scope back. A three inch eye relief should put you in the ballpark for most scopes.

    Soybean welfare plan

If you knew how often I actually get out hunting you would not say that. I think I made it out about six days last fall. Physical abilities, family, expense, etc. Not complaining. As for the new pickup story I hope you didn't think I was whining. It was to demonstrate the whine of another...

Need advise on how to shoot a rifle

Its hard to tell someone else how to shoot. There is a lot of good information so far, but I will add one more. Turn your scope power down. The higher the power the more it looks to the kid like he is shaky. That will lead to jerking the trigger as the crosshairs go past the target. You...

    Soybean welfare plan

Your welcome. Speaking of pickups ------ I had a friend who lived on the border of Arrowwood refuge. I would stop in often after a morning hunt and have coffee with him. The kid would be glued to the TV watching Captain Kangaroo. Well the kid grew up, and the old fellow passed on. When we...

    Soybean welfare plan

Brazil and Argentina will buy from us and sell to China. Then China will continue to tell us they will not buy from us. Bingo, give that man a cigar.

    Soybean welfare plan

Exactly right, the Chinese still need to eat. They will buy just as much of our ag products, but perhaps through a third party rather than directly. They will keep saying they will not buy our products all the while buying through a third party. Perhaps they will hold of a few months trying...

    New broadheads this year?

Priorities, priorities, priorities, we each have different ones. I remember many years ago having a supervisor who said it was a waste giving me a raise when I spend $200 on a bow. He had just dropped $1100 on an ou shotgun.
