    You still have to know how to use the stuff. I've been a fair adopter of new tech, but most of my best catches come without the use of it. Each thing has advantages and disadvantages. A good lake map and a good 2d sonar will catch you a lot of fish on any body of water if you are proficient...

    It does appear to be more resistant to abbrasion and knot strength/ease is better. That said it's noticably fatter, casts harder and still has a lot more guide noise(like a braid). We'll see how it goes.

    I've found August to be the best month to hit open water perch. They're schooled up and biting at that time.

    I jig under my transducer a lot. Some days 90+% of of them crush it. Other days it is opposite where 90+% pass. Really varies from day to day, depth, and water body.
