    Ended up putting the brisket on about 12:30. I hit 153 at about 8 this morning and wrapped in foil. I threw Tika's bean recipe together and tossed it in the smoker as well. Time to go sleep for a little bit. Should be ready around 2pm Nodakbuckeye!

    Finding open water

    Drove down by the interstate boat ramp today. The channel is clear and the ice in the slack water is going fast. At this rate the ramp could get cleared by the weekend. Unfortunately they mad a wall with snow when they plowed the parking lot blocking of the ramp.
