    Tobin Walleye Fishing

I've been trying to get my old man back up there for a couple years. Last time he was there was when he was my age.

    Anyone hear?

I hope you're right, bacon. As far as how many fish have been taken from there, I think it'll put a big dent in success rates.

    Crestliner Transom Woes

That's unreal. A lesser man would have just dumped it on their front lawn.

    My DIY tackle projects

Mostly templates. For the side bars I use a comb just to get my spacing and then I free hand them until they're dark enough. The perch lines are eyeballed on with a couple of triangle templates. Consistency from one side to the other is my biggest challenge. What I need to do is create a vacuum...

I think you're the first one to utter that sentiment, Sweeney.

    My DIY tackle projects

Sdmf, I don't think I've been through enough squeaky saloon doors as you have. Traxion, I've caught fish on a few of the blanks that I use. The lipless ones are as good or better than a rippin rap. The shad baits move pretty damn well but need some tuning. The reef runner look alikes move just...

    My DIY tackle projects

As promised, here they are with epoxy on. Rowdie, that's what I kinda want to get into. The blanks available are pretty terrible. I have one lipless crank that has amazing action but the other ones just aren't great. These pictures are all reprints of bombers.

    Anyone hear?

This is exactly why I have no idea of the legitimacy of this story. Seems like it happens too often but could be the same story. Like I said initially, I'm not trying to re-light everyone's torches. I just wanted to know if it was true or not.

    For once some good luck

I don't blame you guy...BUT, those were the first three rods I've ever broken. Maybe I'm just trying to keep my inventory up to date.:;:muahaha

    Anyone hear?

Heard from someone today that a couple sconies were busted down at Alkaline last weekend with around 100 walleyes over their limit. Don't want to cause a ruckus if it isn't true but I can't find anything online.

    For once some good luck

I've replaced three scheels rods this year. Two were free, one cost me $4 since it was the prior years model.

    My DIY tackle projects

Blue Chrome Hot Steel Weekend Wife (wags named it) Wags dropped off some deep runners for some new paint jobs. Once the clear coat goes on, the colors really pop so I'll update these in a couple days.

Ditto. I should have never created a paypal account.

    Wife thinks this is true....

I petitioned to not put a big deck on the front of our house this summer. We're going to do a little step/landing area out front next year and bust up a wall in the house and open it up for french doors and a floating deck out back.

    Wife thinks this is true....

Wife and I ran through menards yesterday. I blew through my fishing budget for the month and all I got out of it was some rocks.

Lyin tamer is riveted to the deck by my livewell. Works pretty slick.

4TH Of July Idiot Awards Thread

Haha. No I wasn't aboard that vessel. Pretty dang cool though. It was docked next to my cousins place on Saturday morning. I always get a kick out of tying up next to those big cabin cruisers in the bay.

4TH Of July Idiot Awards Thread

I put my boat in at Lakewood and never took it out of the bay. In fact, after I tied it up at 8 am, I didn't get back on it til midnight when I had help to trailer it.

I caught you a delicious bass

I haven't tried it. I cleaned a small mouth for my great uncle one time and I think they have bones made of adamantium. Walleye seem too easy to catch, clean, and prepare. Nice work though.
