Programmers with DEF/DPF/EGR delete? That might be the thing, you can turn up the tune somewhat, but perhaps not completely delete the major emissions components?

Boot Review - Scheels Crispi Summit

I don't think I'd say that Czeck manufacture is inferior to Portuguese. Some pretty good stuff coming out of both countries. Browning/Winchester Semi-Auto shotguns are made in Belgium and assembled in Port. Meopta optics are Czeck.

Boot Review - Scheels Crispi Summit

Cabela’s/Meindl is doing a bit of what danner did. Make a limited line of fantastic boots. Then, when the name grows, throw in some Asia/Pacific made dogshit and hope most people buy the name and don’t notice. The Made in Germany stuff is still excellent. You have to look @ the descriptions...

    mice in camper

I had a B&C World Record sized garter snake move in under my camper in Aug. Gophers and mice seem to have moved elsewhere.

    Patterning Mulies

8x32 then 15x56. If you're in a hurry, you could get those in Meopta/Cabelas models for not much more than the 1 set of Swaro's would cost you and not be giving up very doggone much.

Now we see why those Tourney Sak weights are so big

I bet Lion and Hyena dung is a bigger spreader-outer of Zebra muscle than fishing tournaments.

I bet you that on Sak a 7" fish gets to be a 21" fish when it's 3x longer.

250 LBS of Week - Not Guilty

The "line" for most folks is criminal activity. Catch a criminal via profiling and the end justifies the means for most folks. The issue with ceding a little on the 4th amendment is when it starts to infringe upon specifically the 1st and 2nd amendment. Case in point: I can recall driving...

Now we see why those Tourney Sak weights are so big

NR fishermen/women are welcome and appreciated. Tournament fisher-people suck sweaty snake balls and drive people and revenue away. Pheasant/Fowl philanthropists who often end up limiting access for others are ultimately an economic drain as they drive many out of the sport and stop coming...

Now we see why those Tourney Sak weights are so big

I say HORSESHIT!! to "Fishing and Pheasant Philanthropy". The fishing and pheasant philanthropists only show up when the hunting and fishing is great and hotels and restaurants would be full of in-state non-local people anyway, as long as there's access (hunting). Pheasant #'s are in the...

Now we see why those Tourney Sak weights are so big

While it's hard to watch a week of 30'-45' deep pre-fishing plus the tournament and know that pretty much every fish that comes to the top is going to die, the tournament anglers aren't even a blip on the radar of fish mortality compared to the several hundred non-tournament anglers out in the...

Now we see why those Tourney Sak weights are so big

I've got a camper @ Devils and there are a awful lot of weekends I stay away from the W end of the lake because it's either a a tourney weekend or pre-fishing before a tourney weekend. Fishing tournaments should be held in Wisconsin only.

Now we see why those Tourney Sak weights are so big

I'd have to sit and think for a LONG time to decide whether tournament fishermen or jet-skiers are a bigger nuisance.

    Hurricane Evacuation

That's fine, until the electrical boxes in the basement short out and start the 3 floors below you on fire like what happened in downtown Grand Forks in '97. Grand Forks flood of '97 was an astronomically cheap (for me) and exceptionally valuable life lesson. I was in my 4th year of college, I...

    Smack Talk

It's pretty rare that I fish out of someone else's boat anymore. That being the case, I'm typically happiest when my passengers are catching fish as that means I'm doing my job to get them in the right situation. I had 1 #5 blue jointed shad rap w/red bill on a day in late June this summer...
