    Congrats wslayer, nice buck and snow to boot! I have a 50 cal tc encore shooting two 777 and a 200 gr tc Shockwave works well. I'm sitting on 13 pref points, but I borrow out the tc almost yearly. Borrowed my brothers tc the first time and made the most of it rattling this guy in to 40 yards...

    Last rifle I bought was a 6.5-300 callem! :;:muahaha Variety is the spice of life right! Its taken a couple deer and antelope, none liked the 127 gr lrx.

    Agree That 7 mag will make you a very happy camper on anything from deer to moose with the right bullet. Lots of great .284 bullet choices out there thats for sure. I just like pushing them a little harder with my stw. :;:thumbsup As far as a scope, everyone has a favorite just like calibers...

    No Kurt, and we actually talked about that. I think that 30x min into one eye is kind of like "overloading " your vision and a btx is probably the answer. Sure wish they sold 15x-40x wide angle eyepieces!
