    Walleye Taste vs Northern Pike Taste?

    I finally fried some northerns up about a month ago. About the only difference I found between the pike and walleye was the texture. Still, deboning them (especially my first time) I missed a lot of meat. No bones though so I think it was a success.

    I run pflueger presidents on most of my open water rods. Best bang for the buck, no doubt about it. My ice rods have shimano siennas. Another great real for $30. I'm sure the $200 reels are lighter, have slightly better components, and may have a better warranty, but my president's are going...

    I started off with some cheap pos that eventually just quit spraying. I then bought a badger patriot 105. It says fine detail but it's not.     There's a few lakes with them, hence the no spearing on the mcclusky canal, audubon, sweet briar....I think there's a few more. I'd love to tie into one this summer. I set up a bait caster combo with 80lb powerpro to go after them.
