    Just booked a trip to Florida to go see the wifes Grandpa. Im hoping to do some shore fishing as well as book a charter. Anyone have any recommendations? We'll actually be staying in Venice. MSA dont you go out there? Might try a day of scuba diving as well.

    I believe gearing makes a huge difference as well. Which is kind if a catch im sure those ratings are with the 3.15 axles which are great if your never going to tow anything. Most are running the 3.55 or 3.75 axles wich are better for towing but you loose MPG.

    Its actually opposite. I cant remeber the exact #'s but its somthing like 90% of peak torque at 1800 rpm. Thats why it tows so well the peak isnt much more than the 5.0 but the 5.0 needs the rpms to make torque.

    Ive heard others say that. I think my 3.5 heats up quite a bit faster than my 5.4 does. Granted I park in a heated garage most the time.

    I have a 14 f150 with the 3.5. I love the truck! Its leveled with big wide tires. Milage in ND avg 15mpg if im good. For some reason as soon as I leave nd my milage goes way up. I could get over 20mpg when I was driving around Ohio last summer. The milage is what it is but thats not why I drive...

    Wife has a Navigator and I have a F150. The Navigator wins hands down with comfort and stability on slippery roads. You loose clearence though.
