    I can usually get by pretty well taking apart and putting back together assuming I do both actions myself and I do them fairly close together. That said, Ruger semi-auto 22 pistols and Browning BPS shotguns are the devil. Those 2 get the gun-scrubber and air-hose only treatment.

    In this case, the bolt became uncocked. This can happen easily in some rifles and is almost impossible with others. Cocked: Uncocked: No biggie to fix, just need to turn the tail section clockwise 1/4 turn.
