    I work for one of the largest software companies in the world. Leveraging AI to solve various problems has become part of just about every role. I've seen it come a along way in a short time. For example, most new code is now writen entirely or mostly by AI.

    I've seen what it's capable of, and how that's grown exponentially over a short time. When paired with advances in robotics, at some point billions of humans will no longer have a purpose. Whether it decides to remove us, or we just fade away due to a Universe 25 type situation, I don't know...

    Therein lies the problem. Yes, it will unlock all kinds of amazing science stuff. However, when paired with robotics, it will also replace humans at even the most "blue collar" levels. The entirety of humanity will trend more useless and stupid until it no longer serves a purpose.

    I've not done as well as last season, but I haven't been out as much either. I've shot 18 myself. I hunt with varying combinations of 3 other guys. I should keep track for the group, but I don't. I suppose I've seen 30 or 40 some killed.

    I assume you already own these. I would go with the 22 ARC. The couple hundred FPS it adds over the 223 makes a big difference. To avoid wandering all over in the dark looking for them, you want the flattest shooting, hardest hitting thing that is still pleasant to shoot. 22 Creedmoor...

    Yeah, it's tough to tell distance with a thermal. I killed a lot of coyotes without it over the last couple years, but getting an LRF is one of the main reasons I upgraded.

    Yeah, even with 22 Creedmoor laser beam, 300 is a long shot with what is essentially a 3x optic. I like them inside of 100 if I can get it.

    I'd try to sight at 100 yards if possible. You'd need to run your numbers through a ballistic calculator to know what you'd need for a further (like 200 yard) zero. Depending on your rifle and scope height, you may actually need to be a bit low at 50 yards to be zeroed at 200.
