I know there are deer ticks in the Sheyenne River valley, mostly because I know of two people who claimed it was the origin of their Lyme's disease. I don't know of anything west of there, yet. I'm guessing they are slowly, but surely, on the move west.
There are rules in law regarding abandonment of property on someone else's land. I know an example where a vehicle was abandoned for a year before the insurance company came to get it. They didn't really say much when they discovered others had stripped a lot of parts off of it.

Things that make me say "hmm"...
Pretty sure I would take down any unmarked and unfamiliar cameras found on my place. And if were a govt camera, I'd probably put something in front of it to amuse them.
It is if you don't have access to private land. A public lands hunt in ND can be quite the challenge, and involve a lengthy pack out. I shot mine on public land right before dark and didn't finish getting him out until nearly 5 AM. I was hunting alone and while it was only about a mile from...
Yep, and that's why I often refer to him as ND's only little Trump.
I mean, I get it. Department heads work at the pleasure of the leader of the executive branch, but do you really have to be a dick? Usually that suggests to me that the "experts" are being ignored and the head of the...
Nonetheless, it's way better of Fritz offering him up to a ND sportsman than allowing NDGF to help remove a problem elk from his operation.
Because, I do believe that is still an option available to cervid ranches.
So I too say, good on ya, Fritz.
BDC scopes need to be calibrated by shooting. I have a Nikon version, only because Scheels didn't have shit else at the moment I needed a new scope. Basically, you will need to go to the range and burn some ammo to figure it all out. Yeah, the scope should have come with some guidelines in...
Hah, I've never tried apples, but do know that the wait time varies between the other fruit. Chokecherry has by far the longer wait time to mellow. Pear has been the quickest.
Not saying you are wrong, just that it's kind of an apples vs oranges thing here. I am talking about infusing fruit flavors and sugar into something like vodka. No fermentation expected in what I do.
For example, here's a recipe I use for making some pretty flavorful chokecherry liqueur:

Soapy water is a contact killer as in you HAVE to completely coat the bug with the soapy water in order to kill them. The dish soap breaks the water tension (soap is a surfactant) and then they drown since they need to breathe through their exoskeletons and their exoskeletons allow water to...
I suggest making apple liqueur. Lots of recipes out on the interweb, I have used chokecherries, raspberries, peaches, plums, strawberries, cherries, and pears. There is a long wait time, but people seem to like it.
No, damnit...no..no...no. I refuse to believe it.
Actually, I have no idea as it may be related to that shit show, but I think I just bought it at Scheels some 15(?) years ago. And I don't recall it being advertised as associated with him.
Anyway, it's been a darn good blade for the time...
