    What would you have done?

It's out of your hands now, but whatever happens, it's not your fault. I dropped the dime on something really unsavory that I saw, a couple sundays ago at a local grocery store. Got a call back, might have to be a witness for the prosecutor. I don't mind at all. Involved a small kid...

Well, they got THAT goin' for 'em.

    What would you have done?

Yes, call it in. It will be your word against theirs, but if they have made this a habit, and have been "warned" before, you might save a life.

New South Dakota state record salmon ?

Wow, that's a pig! Three times my biggest salmon (not saying much, but I sure had fun boating THAT fish). Anyhow, this is especially noteworthy when you consider beating the old record by over 6 lbs. What a great day that guy had!

Found a fishing rod at the tailrace

I feel you. Those rocks, between the bird crap, and slime/weeds, etc, can be more treacherous than a one legged bar stool. So, no fish whatsoever? I watch your goings-on, and if you're killing them, I stand a chance. If you're not catching fish, I stay my butt at home.

    Salmo Hornet Favorite Colors

After many arm-chair/riverside/leaning-on-the-boat-in-the-garage conversations, I'll say it looks good. It would seem that contrast ends up being more important than any specific color. There are those that would disagree - that would say "neat, but should be blue". And sometimes I'd be...

    2016 Lottery-Real Results!!! Not a joke!!!

As a non-hunter (I have zero problems with hunting of course, just have never taken the time), I say this "Best of luck! (and this means more fish for me)".

    Salmo Hornet Favorite Colors

DM, the black tiger was the only one that caught me a fish at the "secret hole". So if I can catch a fish with it, you KNOW it's dynamite. I mean, really... especially at THAT lake. I mean, the fish were committing hari-kari with other fisherman, and then there's me. So, you know the black...

60* for a high and rain.....

Would be awesome to show up there. Our wives and kids could get along without us a few days.

Farm Income, I Need Me Some

Our former daycare lady had a couple of them at her ranch. They are hilarious. Open up an umbrella towards them, and they go stiff and tip right over.

There appears to be plenty of room on this boat for Jaykay.

    Who's ready for ice fishing?

Anything above 75 is too hot. Thankfully this oven-blast is short lived. And yes, I've lived in ND my whole life. I love it after the first freeze. Hay fever gone, bugs gone, cooler nights and windows open. Fall fishing is my favorite. September to January makes me happy.

    Confession to KurtR

Waggers, this is temporary. Unlike cheese, it will not get better with age.

    Confession to KurtR

Kristy McNichol is a WHAT!? Holy hell.. That's just GREAT! There goes my whole year. Daryl Hanah, yup. I like Tom Hanks. I think if he ever met me, we'd be friends. I sharted probably 5 yrs ago. Was at home though, so all good.

Where are Ginger and Mary Ann when you need them?

Neat! Stealthy, inexpensive, can get into small waters. It's midway between a kayak and a small tiller.

    Very neat tool

Pretty sure I need one of these, because: A) I always need more fishing stuff. B) At 46, my eyes aren't what they once were (that's a little distressing). C) In a rocking boat, or when cold, or in low light, it would be just the deal. D) I always need more fishing stuff. - - - Updated - -...

    Concealed carry questions

I carry a pirate's cutlass in my teeth. Seriously, just got the CWL, so will carry this fall when fishing alone. 4:30, OWB.

    Scheels Rain Gear

I've had good luck with the Scheels stuff, both parka and bibs. One of the patches of Velcro on the storm flap came loose though. Bad stitching. But I fixed it up and it's all good. For what it's worth though, I've never heard one bad thing about anything made by Simms, exceptin' the price...
