    New flip house

sometimes a bunch of water (inch or two) gets in from snow/rain/travel events. I have an old sponge in there permanently for mopping up excess if it gets too deep. Can't stand water sloshing around getting gear/bags wet.

agree - makes wiping the grooves dry a drag rivets should work fine - can't imagine why not. Maybe keep a few bolts/nuts handy in the sled in case one of the front rivets blow out - so you have a way to secure it so that you don't have a little "ski" hanging loose/down up front for a trip...

Can I rent short term dock space at a Sak marina?

    Winnipeg Ice

We had an unforecasted ground blizzard 5-6 years ago up there. Not cool. I had the only GPS (crappy little Lowrance B/W H2O) and was tasked with leading a group of 10 or so off. White knuckle city. :( A general poopy feeling until we made the launch.

Yep - even 6.5s are too short for the longer rods in use today. Have to place majority of mine at a diagonal if hauling in the back of a 6.5 bed.
