I never said he was my friend :) I am optimistically hoping you are right.

    F150 one year review.

I'm a little nervous about the turbos going out eventually since they are very expensive to replace. Had 1 guy that thought he was in the know telling me that they won't make it past 70K. I guess we'll see. If I would have been convinced that the V8 5.0 would have had the pulling power...

Yes, mine does the same downshift thing. Sounds bad, doesn't it? I assume it is OK. I try to slow down sooner to prevent that some. Mine didn't have a factory remote starter but had a Compustar installed recently and love it.

In case someone is interested. This is my review of my truck after 1 year of ownership. I bought a 2015 Ford F150 with 3.5 liter Ecoboost about 1 year ago. Good power for pulling my 18.5’ glass boat. I usually lock it out of 6th gear when pulling because it doesn’t stay there very long...

Well this is going to get interesting

I've been thinking all along that the protestors efforts should be focused on ensuring the oil pipe is the most leak proof ever invented instead of trying to prevent it. I'm concerned about it leaking too, especially considering it will probably be a rush job now.

I agree, Raider, hopefully on Jan. 20, with Cramer's relationship with Trump, the easement gets approved, federal law enforcement comes in to help our local LEOs and the drilling begins.

Yes, has been quiet. Something must be brewing. They know the clock is ticking as it gets closer to Jan 20. Be sad if a shot is ever fired as I don't think it would stop with just one and then this thing will never go away. Even the DOJ talks like this is them against law enforcement. LE...

Should probably add a 4th choice for JayKay.....wading. Although he has been pretty quiet lately, maybe he gave it up. :;:stirthepot

    Shimano Discontinuing Sienna FD

I have often thought the gears wear out in mine. They start making that hissing sound, eventually reel rough and have even had some lock up on a good hard hook set :)

    Shimano Discontinuing Sienna FD

Not mine. I have tried expensive and cheaper reels and if I can get 2 years out of a reel I am "real" lucky. It has been said that I like to "cast, cast, cast" and I think this style of fishing wears down a reel a lot faster than say, trolling. I've tried several brands and they all last...

Keypad Deadbolts on House or Garage?

I agree with this. I have a similar setup and we always leave the house doors (I have 2) unlocked. Funny thing is I lock the main level door at night but don't bother with the mud room entry. Just makes me sleep better.

My favorite comment from last night in response to the criminals complaining about getting sprayed by water cannons: "Water is life, soak it in!"

    Buried wire dog fence

I've had wired for 16 years now without any issues. If you go that route, use a straight edge spade or even an ice scraper to cut your line in the dirt for the wire. Push it in with a paint stir stick or something similar that can't cut the wire. I went thru the seams already in my driveway...

    Beef Jerkey

I have made jerky out of ground beef many times. Dab with paper towel while drying to get off any grease. Works just fine.
