    Still_lesrning have you guys ever fished Harmon Lake north of Mandan? Just wondering cause I gave it a whirl a few years ago and we did get a few but never really got into them. Curious if you or any of your members have had much luck up there for bass?

    One battery or two?

    Going from a 30 lb thrust to a 54 lb is a big difference. The 54 sucks a lot of juice out of 12 volter. I have both motors in the Minnkota versions that I use on a duck boat and if I were to run the 54 at full bore it doesnt take long at all to notice the battery taking a crap. I prefer the 30.

    Like others have said if I was single I would actually seek out a small house as long as there was a good sized shop/garage of some sort. I like the idea of simple living, unfortunately getting married and having kids isn't conducive to simple living. Far from it.
