    I get that too. On my Yamaha there is nothing left after I use the pump, I’ve pulled the plug to check. Maybe a tablespoon? Other engines could be different depending on how you get it set to depth and such. But I certainly do it with warm oil.

    Any preference on starting batteries? I have yet to go to a separate battery for electronics but that is probably the next thing. For now looking for a big 27 or 29 series starting battery. Recommendations?

    Saga continues. Dewalt DC999 broke second trip. Returned it. Put the pistol bit on my gas auger. And picked up a SM 24V new for $250. Happy with the SM so far. Dewalt clutch breaking was a fluke but I didn’t like it too much. Great deals out there end of season on all augers!
