    Those 3M sticky mounts that the camera comes with are incredible. They hold!! That is what I use. Then have the camera connected to a battery pack (or the cigarette lighter). With a 64gb sd card I can record almost 10 hours without touching it.

    I probably would not even install the transducer for the bird, and use it strictly for mapping. Especially if you are going to be fishing Sakakawea a bit. Run the Lowrance for your sonar.
