    MT vs ND

Lot different in Montana and in that area to boot. All private land. A little block management. The deer get the shit shot out of them on the block management and the few school sections. Private land is tough to access unless to know someone well.

    Who’s ready for trapping?

Definitely way faster with cement mixer and weed burner. Have done it that way for years. Dirt lasts forever if stored right. It is not fun setting traps this year.

Gun and/or reloading issues. Need help.

Does the case have sent before you shoot it? It should form to your chamber after firing. If you had an obstruction in the chamber causing a dent like that you would be able to fully chamber anyways. Take your rifle to a gunsmith and have him check it out.

    Archery Mule Deer

Just go out and hunt. Binos and your bow that is what bowhunting is all about. If you are worried about success stay home and hunt whitetails. Get off the road and walk over a hill and you will find deer it is that simple. The internet and social media has exploited more good hunting areas...

Who drew ND Antelope tags this year?

Yes sir. I have had boxes that blew up like ballistic tips or v maxes and others that seemed to have thick jackets and didn't open up.

Who drew ND Antelope tags this year?

Who drew ND Antelope tags this year?

I tested Barnes tsxs and the old Barnes 30 years ago they pencil through lungs and animal runs off long ways and yes they are perfectly placed. Or they lay down and required follow up shots. I have dug more bullets out of critters than the average Joe as my father is a taxidermist and I have...

Who drew ND Antelope tags this year?

Why not use a accubond, partition, a frame or scirroco and ha bullet you can count on. I would rather hunt with a bullet that gives me 3/4 moa accuracy and great performance than a 1/4 minute with poor performance. If you go on a guided hunt many guides won't let you use amazes, elds...

Who drew ND Antelope tags this year?

I have double lunged elk, deer, and coyotes with Barnes bullets they ain't that good! They were put in the boiler room. I would rather be on play edge of a bullet that has a thinner jacket as you use a Sierra gameking or nosler ballistic tip in the lungs animals don't go far. If you use a...

Who drew ND Antelope tags this year?

Caliber was not the problem it was the all copper coolaid Barnes tsx that was the problem. The bullet is only good when it hits bones.

    keeping fish alive in summer?

A cooler full of crushed ice is about as good as it gets for keeping fish fresh. All the saltwater charters use it. The bleeding does a great job at making fillets look good and are very white also can keep from getting stale taste from blood.
