    I went to Simms and AFTCO hoodies years ago. Wear the hood over a cap for a visor and keep the hood from blowing into your eyes - sometimes under the cap if the wind is blowing like MOFO. A little dab of 50 spf sunscreen on the nose/cheeks, lips - and a spot on the hands and you're covered...

    Yeah - I meant rope lights but stapled tight to the bottom of the rafters for even shadowless lighting if grilling at night. True droopy rope lights are too girly for a grilling/smoking shelter anyway. I tried spot / flood lights, and they made me sad.

    Great job. You've got room up in the ceiling to have a set of panel's that fold down from the ceiling to create total top/bottom walls. You know - for days when the wind is at super suck intensity. (90% of the days in the summer) Also - that shelter is begging for rope lights.

    Can anyone explain the logic behind this “ride your bike with the traffic” rule? I must have been sleeping when they taught that in cub scouts. I suppose it applies to riding on the actual traffic lane of a road, not on the shoulder?

    Texting has made roads very dangerous these days. No way you'd catch galwhofishes and I with our backs turned to traffic while walking. And no way we'd be riding bikes on highways/roads this day and age if we were asked to turn our backs on traffic. Screw that.
