    We did well at Flag Friday and Sunday. Crawlers dor the most part but did get several on cranks. Really doesn't seem to matter where you go, if one spot slows move and find more. Caught fish in 6 out to 25 fow.

    Did you start with raw almonds? Only reason I ask is I tried making my great Aunt's peanut brittle once and used salted and roasted spanish peanuts, not raw like the recipe said. Burned them pretty dang quick, well before brittle was ready to pour.

    Popped my cherry last night

    Sadly, too many times to count, several fingers and shad raps become 1 over the years. Used to just push through until I found the string method. Have used it several times and is pretty quick and painless. I think mine came from Southbend.

    I don't see why not, we got into a pattern of land locked atlantics on Lake Champlain on a June trip when summer weather was late and just pounded them on a break that had current caused by an old railroad that crossed over to the islands.
