    Start carrying again

phucking vermin bring their drugs, whores and lifestyle into mid America and try to replicate Detroit, Chicago, Baltimore, etc. Just goes to show what a dismal failure Affirmative Action and stand down orders to police really did reveal.

    Plate Sized Bluegill

Several years ago my buddy Terry and I floated the idea of spending the winter on Lake Havasu fishing for big sunfish. We were going to trailer Todd's (FIO) Lund Impact until he saw pictures of Bobkat's transome covered with mussels. Terry is gone now and i can't even fish the river so It's...

    Been 3 years

Our supplimental Ins with United Health through AARP runs $418 a month. I've been getting poked, prodded. scanned, ect on a regular basis the past year and a half and only had 1 charge for $18 in all that time. I'd be in the poor house w/o the suppliment to medicare.

    Been 3 years

Once you are debt free it's pretty easy to manage your $$ if you have good supplimental insurance and don't eat rib eye and shrimp too often. That said we don't want for anything. I get annoyed with Midco and the SOS movies but subscribed to Paramount Plus and have a grandson skating with the...

    Christmas menu

WHAT? am I the only one who still roasts a turkey? At 79 with attempts at countless birds I finally got it right and won't give it up. Maple syrup/bourbon brine for 24 hours, smear with canola oil, roast uncovered in a 450 degree oven to brown, transfer to my white roaster, 325 degrees for...

    Opinion On Soaking Game

always get a kick out of people who complain about grouse and pronghorns as table fare. Both seasons are generally during hot weather. carrying a shot grouse in the vest all day allowing it to stew in its own juices or pronghorns shot and left with the skin on makes for some nasty eating. but...

Crazy Hunter Harassment Duck Hunting In North Dakota (Game Warden Involved!)

Ran into the same scenerio north of Gladstone years ago. I vowed never to be that guy. But you will always find someone with total disregard for Private property. Now that I'm a land owner I forsee a shitstorm with EHD decimating the whitetail herd in the S/W quadrant of the state and new...

    Looking for mid-size pickup

As an old greybeard I love my Ridgeline. Stepping up to get in a silverado or f 150 w/o running boards is tough. All those little extras like tie down brackets, lights in the box, swinging tailgate and the under the box storage are nice features. My only gripe is that the standard commercial...

    cancer

Well, it's hunting season. Everything else including this cancer takes a back seat. I don't chase the dogs anymore but someone still needs to cook, clean up the backstraps and maintain the cabin. PS, I feel good. Thanks for the well wishes.

    cancer

My PSA went from 24 - 52 - 96 all within a years time. Biopsy (12 samples) each came back with a Gleason score of 9. Bone and body scans don't show any spread to bones or internal organs at this point but I am scheduled for a PET SCAN in Fargo next week. I'm not looking forward to the drive...

    cancer

Thanks for the input and support Bob. I was up at the cabin entertaining a new youth hunter over the weekend and got a call that I had been approved for an experimental drug for 1 year at no charge. It will be delivered by Fed Ex on Monday. I still need to hear from the oncologist regarding...

    cancer

Yes, I have prostate cancer but it has not spread to other organs or bones. My "Gleason score was 9 on all 12 samples. My PSA jumped from 24 to 53 to 96 all in one year. Currently scheduled for more scans with possible radiation. As stated I will turn 79 next month, It appears most men will...

    cancer

problem is, it's tough to take this seriously. I feel so darn good, have an appetite and a good pee stream. If I were hurting it might be a different story. I will have blood in my urine if I spend time on the tractor mower. Other than that. nada. Will turn 79 next month. I feel blessed.

    cancer

Cancer I picked up my prescription of Abiraterone from The Pharmacy today. Sticker shock is a total understatement. I didn’t work 24/7/365 so the CEO of Pfizer could fuck me in the ass with exorbitant prices to match his lifestyle. $14,000 for a 1 months supply of a drug we have no way of...

    Kyle Ritenhouse~

Unlike Dirty, I watched the Kyle interviews. To me the kid looked like a deer in the headlights but I found nothing wrong with his answers. He was maligned by Biden and just about every asshole liberal who had the attention of the press. His initial attorneys stole money destined for his...
