    Not a waterfowler and know there are local geese all winter but sure seems like a lot of geese flying around Bismarck the past 4-5 days. Saturday afternoon saw multiple large groups flying north in formation higher than the locals typically cruise.

    Perch are fun through the ice. Raising perch from eggs is reportedly more difficult than walleye and other species. Many lakes are overrun with small stunted perch so netting and transferring is an economical win-win.

    Don't agree with having a closed season, especially on the vast majority of ND waters which see little to no natural walleye reproduction. Stopping tournaments on the Missouri during spawn would be fine.
